Agility in a Startup: Mynet Games Journey

High competition, scarcity of talents and ever changing market and player’s needs make it difficult to survive as a new start-up company in the mobile game industry. Addition to these external challenges, trying to be a “team”, execute a new strategy and focusing on impactful results are a secret code for most companies to be cracked. At Mynet Games, we are trying to build an operating structure that serves us to reach our goals, live our vision and be the pioneer of operational excellence in the mobile game industry.

 

This session will include how we’ve mapped these challenges and experimented solutions for them. We have identified three different elements, strategy, mental model shift from project mindset to product mindset, team dynamics including awareness, confidence and commitment to be prioritized for our operational excellence. During the session, I will go through solutions and practices we have experimented under each element and the relationship of these three elements at the organization level.

"Understanding the real needs of people" is the best thing I can do. I am passionate about discovering subtle notes behind people's motivations, feelings and what they say. After 7-years product & strategy experience, I have stepped into a journey giving me chance to observe and learn how individuals, teams and organizations adapt&grow. The journey continues at Mynet Games, I am working as a change agent with 3 different casual mobile game development teams and the leadership team to crack new agile ways of working in mobile game industry.
